1. Acceptable Use Policy

NumVault virtual phone numbers may only be used for:

• Legitimate business communications and customer support
• SMS verification for your own applications and services
• Privacy protection for legal personal and business communications
• GDPR/TCPA-compliant marketing with explicit recipient consent

2. KYC & Identity Verification

All users must complete Know Your Customer (KYC) verification before provisioning numbers. We reserve the right to request government-issued identification. Providing false information will result in immediate termination.

3. Carrier Compliance

Numbers are provisioned through Twilio, Vonage, and other CTIA/Ofcom-compliant carriers. Users are bound by the acceptable use policies of these upstream providers. Violation of carrier policies will result in number deprovisioning without refund.

4. Data Retention & Privacy

SMS message content is retained for 90 days and then permanently deleted. User account data is stored in encrypted form. We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and Nigerian Data Protection Regulation (NDPR). You may request data deletion at any time.

5. Law Enforcement Cooperation

NumVault cooperates fully with valid law enforcement requests. We maintain activity logs for fraud investigation and will disclose account information to relevant authorities when legally required. We may proactively report suspicious activity without prior notice.

6. Fraud Detection & Account Suspension

Automated systems monitor for suspicious patterns including high-volume SMS sending, rapid number acquisition, and anomalous geographic access. Accounts flagged by these systems may be suspended pending review without prior notice.

7. Refund Policy

Numbers that are deprovisioned due to carrier rejection will receive a full refund. Numbers suspended due to policy violations are not eligible for refund. Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Nigerian law and international telecommunications regulations. Disputes will be resolved in Lagos State courts. For US customers, binding arbitration applies.
